Creator Agreement
Last updated: September 19, 2026
This Creator Agreement supplements the Terms of Service and applies when you use Booth to sell, collect leads, or monetize a storefront. It is between you and Booth.
1. Independent business
You operate as an independent business. Booth is a software platform, not your employer, partner, or joint venturer. You decide your offers, pricing, and customer relationships.
2. Payouts
- You must connect an eligible payment account (e.g., Stripe Connect / PayPal) to receive funds
- Payout timing, reserves, and holds are controlled by the payment provider
- Booth may charge platform subscription fees; transaction processor fees are separate
- You are responsible for taxes on your income; Booth may issue tax forms where legally required
3. Prohibited offerings
- Illegal products/services, stolen goods, or infringement of IP
- Adult content involving minors; non-consensual intimate imagery
- Weapons, drugs, and other categories banned by Stripe/PayPal acceptable-use policies
- Misleading claims, fake scarcity, or deceptive marketing
4. Customer data
Customer personal data you collect is processed under your privacy notices and applicable law. You agree to use emails and DMs only with lawful basis/consent, honor unsubscribe requests, and not sell customer lists obtained via Booth in violation of law or Meta/platform policies.
5. Content license & takedown
You grant Booth rights to host and display your storefront content. We may remove content or suspend sales that appear to violate law, these terms, or processor policies, including DMCA notices.
6. Chargebacks & reserves
High dispute rates may lead to payout delays, reserves, or account review. You must respond promptly to evidence requests.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate. Upon termination you should export customer/order data as available. Outstanding fees remain due. Surviving obligations include indemnity and confidentiality.
